Confession of Love – a Poem for Him

“Confession of Love” is a poem dedicated to my husband. After some rocky and difficult years of marriage, I found that my love has grown stronger. I have been learning to forgive, to let go of past hurts and to let God heal my wounds. “Confession of Love” is a poem for him, for the man in your life, a poem for your husband.

Confession of Love – a Poem for Him

I want to tell you that I love you

That there is no life for me without you.

The life together was not always easy

And many times, you broke my heart

But here I am, and everything is right.

I truly love you more than ever

Cause our two beings are knit together

An inseparable entity, one body and one mind

In truth, in love, forever

hand in hand riding on the waves of life.

Nothing can take your place in my heart

Nobody is able to play your part.

You are my husband, shelter, protection

You make me happy, no need for perfection.

I just want to tell you that I love you

That life is not a life without you!

Remember to pin me for later!

  1. These are beautiful words. Your husband is lucky to have you and you’re lucky to have each other. Sure there will be challenges, as in any marriage, but look how stronger you’ve become. Wishing you many more happy years of marriage.
