Have you had the feeling that nobody cares and that your life has no meaning and purpose? Have you felt this void in you, full of aching and longing, thirsty for unconditional love and belonging, for something stable and secure?

I didn’t know that this seemingly innocent Google invitation called “Rediscover this day” would throw me again in the trenches of overwhelming pain. I clicked on the link and stared into two smiling faces: my husband and me, standing on a bridge in a hug, exuding happiness, joy, and love.
Have you wondered how to have a new beginning with God? If you are sitting among ruins today, then this message is for you.
Friend, if you are in pain, let’s remember today the greatest possible comfort: the Lord is there. He is there in the ruins, in the pain, in the garbage, in the suffering, in the darkness and hopelessness. He not only knows; He also feels our pain.
