How can we overcome the fear of the unknown? We want and pray for change – to start a new career, to restore a relationship, to learn a new skill, to write a book, to heal. The fulfillment of our goals, desires and God’s promises means change and venturing into the unknown. Often, what holds us back and is our greatest enemy is the fear of the unknown.

Very often we feel stuck in our faith journey and don’t know how to get unstuck and start walking again. We have not thought it would take so long and would be so difficult. We struggle with a problem or a situation for a long time, and we still don’t have a solution. It seems we are going in circles, and we don’t see the progress we want so much.
Our decisions determine the direction and quality of our lives. But how to make godly decisions? How can we make sure that our decisions are good, godly and in harmony with God’s will for our lives?
Personal expectations can be a source of satisfaction and joy, as well as a source of disappointment and frustration. But why do we get so disappointed when things do not develop as we expect? And how can we live not depending on our expectations?
How can we responsibly handle our expectations and thus increase our satisfaction in life? The hotel is crowded and loud, the desired job comes in a package with a complaining colleague, the attempts to eat healthy fail, a friend refuses to help at the last minute, the husband has forgotten the anniversary.
What is the difference between my way and God’s way of meeting needs and fulfilling desires? Why is God’s way the best for us?
Faith sees beyond space and time and knows that everything is already as it should be. Hope dwells with the expectation of seeing in the physical reality what faith sees in the spiritual. And love is the eternal dimension that remains forever.
The delusion of hopelessness is mainly a consequence of false beliefs. When we adopt an attitude of mistrust, suspicion, and despair, and it becomes a firm mind-set, then the delusion of hopelessness takes control.
